Concord is a small town in Talladega County, Alabama, United States. It is located in the central part of the state, about 50 miles east of Birmingham. The town has a population of around 2,000 people and is known for its rural atmosphere and friendly community. Concord was founded in the early 1800s and was named after the nearby Concord Baptist Church. The town has a long history, with several historical sites and landmarks scattered throughout the area. These include the Talladega County Courthouse, which was built in the late 1800s and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and the Concord School, a one-room schoolhouse that was built in the early 1900s and is now a museum.
