Bon Air is a small, unincorporated community in Jefferson County, Alabama, United States. It is located about 10 miles southeast of Birmingham and is part of the Birmingham metropolitan area. Bon Air is a residential community with a mix of single-family homes and apartments. It is located near several parks, including Bon Air Park and Oak Mountain State Park, which offers hiking trails, picnicking areas, and other outdoor recreational opportunities.
