Billingsley is a small town located in Chilton County, Alabama, United States. According to the 2010 Census, the population of Billingsley is approximately 215 people. The town is located in the central part of the state, about 50 miles south of Birmingham and 35 miles northwest of Montgomery. The town was founded in the late 1800s and was named after a local family. It is primarily a rural community, with a mix of farmland and forests. The town has a few local businesses, including a gas station and a small grocery store. Billingsley is part of the Chilton County School District and has a K-12 school located within the town limits. The town also has a post office and a volunteer fire department.
