Roseland is a small unincorporated community located in Indian River County, Florida, United States. It is situated on the eastern side of the county and is bordered by the Indian River Lagoon to the east. Roseland has a rich history dating back to the late 1800s when the area was first settled by pioneers. The community was originally named "Roselawn" after the Roselawn Cemetery in Chicago, where some of the early settlers were from. However, the name was later changed to Roseland.
