Quincy is a city located in Gadsden County, Florida, United States. It is the county seat of Gadsden County and has a population of approximately 7,000 people as of the 2020 census. Quincy was founded in 1828 and named after John Quincy Adams, who was then serving as the Secretary of State under President James Monroe.
