Conway is a census-designated place (CDP) located in Orange County, Florida, United States. It is situated approximately six miles southeast of downtown Orlando and covers an area of approximately 4.4 square miles. Conway was originally settled in the late 1800s by a man named James B. "Jimmy" Conway, who built a cabin and opened a general store. The community that grew up around his store eventually took on his name.
