It is a census-designated place (CDP) with a population of around 24,252 people as of the 2020 United States Census. Location and Geography: Citrus Park is situated in the northern part of Hillsborough County, just west of Tampa. It covers an area of around 11.9 square miles (30.9 km²), of which 11.6 square miles (30.1 km²) is land and 0.3 square miles (0.8 km²) is water. The community is bordered by the city of Oldsmar to the west, Keystone to the north, Westchase to the south, and Carrollwood to the east.
