Tiburon is a town located in Marin County, California, in the San Francisco Bay Area. It is situated on the Tiburon Peninsula, which extends into the San Francisco Bay and is surrounded by water on three sides. Tiburon is known for its stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Angel Island, and the San Francisco skyline. History: Tiburon was originally home to the Coast Miwok people, who lived in the area for thousands of years before the arrival of Europeans. In the early 1800s, the Spanish established a military outpost on the peninsula, and in the mid-1800s, the area became a center for shipping and trade. Tiburon was incorporated as a town in 1964.
