Quail Valley is an unincorporated community located in Riverside County, California, United States. It is situated in the southern part of the county, approximately 75 miles east of Los Angeles and 25 miles northwest of Temecula. Quail Valley is a small community with a population of around 1,000 people. History: Quail Valley was originally developed in the 1960s as a retirement community. The area was developed by the Quail Valley Company, which also developed the nearby community of Menifee. The community was named after the quails that were abundant in the area.
