Pedley is an unincorporated community in Riverside County, California, United States. It is located in the northwestern part of the county, bordered by the cities of Jurupa Valley, Ontario, and Fontana. History: Pedley was originally known as Glenwood, and was a stop on the Southern Pacific Railroad line between Los Angeles and San Bernardino. The town was named after William Pedley, a local rancher and landowner who donated land for a school and a church in the area. In the early 20th century, the community was primarily agricultural, with citrus groves and vineyards being the main crops.
