Littlerock is a census-designated place (CDP) located in the Antelope Valley region of Los Angeles County, California, United States. It is situated in the eastern part of the county, approximately 11 miles southeast of Palmdale and 40 miles north of downtown Los Angeles. The CDP has a total area of 1.8 square miles, all of it land. Littlerock was originally settled in the late 1800s as a stagecoach stop along the Old Spanish Trail. It was named after the nearby Little Rock Wash, which flows into the Antelope Valley. The town grew in the early 20th century with the arrival of the railroad and the development of agriculture in the area.
