Humboldt Hill is a small community located in Humboldt County, California, USA. It is situated just east of the city of Eureka and is bordered by Humboldt Bay to the west and the Pacific Ocean to the west. The hill itself rises to an elevation of about 400 feet above sea level, offering beautiful views of the surrounding area. The history of Humboldt Hill can be traced back to the mid-19th century, when it was settled by farmers and ranchers. The area was known for its fertile soil and mild climate, which made it ideal for growing crops and raising livestock. In the early 20th century, the community began to grow as more people moved to the area to work in the nearby lumber industry.
