Glendora is a city located in Los Angeles County, California, in the United States. It is situated in the eastern San Gabriel Valley, at the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 50,891. History: The area where Glendora is now located was originally inhabited by the Tongva people, a Native American tribe. In the 19th century, the land was part of the Rancho Azusa de Dalton, a large Spanish land grant. The city was founded in 1887 by George D. Whitcomb, who named it after his wife, Leadora.
