Forest Meadows is a residential community located in Calaveras County, California. It is situated in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, about 5 miles east of Murphys and 10 miles west of Arnold. The community covers an area of approximately 2,000 acres and is home to about 1,500 residents. The community was first developed in the 1970s by a company called Calaveras Timber Trails. The developers sought to create a community that would blend harmoniously with the natural surroundings, and today, Forest Meadows is known for its beautiful scenery, abundant wildlife, and peaceful atmosphere.
