East Hemet is an unincorporated community located in Riverside County, California, United States. It is situated east of the city of Hemet and is part of the Hemet metropolitan area. The community is primarily residential, with some commercial areas along Florida Avenue and Sanderson Avenue. East Hemet is known for its scenic views of the San Jacinto Mountains and nearby Diamond Valley Lake. The lake is a popular destination for boating, fishing, hiking, and camping.
